Practiced writing select 2 and 3 letter words by referring to the alphabet chart in teh Hindi Level 1 booklet. e.g. colors table, simple words - kamal, nal, iit (brick) etc. Writing and speaking simple words will be focus this month to build vacab of commonly used words. Please refer to Booklet and the book 1 for practicing.
We had a fun game also at the end. Pls. make sure your child ha s pencil and a notebook for Hindi class. Parents suggestions appreciated. Contact any of the teachers. Thanks.

We practiced spelling hindi alphabets from "ka" to "na" along with a word starting with that alphabet. We showed everybody pictures related to the hindi words so that kids can relate it to their daily lives. Also wrote the alphabets on board from "ka" to "aha" so the kids learn to recognize them and spell them. Next class we will revise previous class material and also show the new alphabets with a word & picture.
Parents- Please buy the Hindi Sarita Book 1 & the Hindi 1 workbook from the front desk as these are the books we will be using for reading & practicing purpose.

Practiced a, aa, i, ii, u, uu, e, ei, o, au, am and aha. Pls. practice 5-10 min. writing in the notebook at home.

from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Kids who took home the Hindi test sheet since they were not fully
prepared on Apr 28th and Parents who requested for Test on May 5th will be sent a copy
of the Test via email. This will be a closed book take home test, please complete it
and send it with your child for the next class.
This week students reviewed the revision test questionarie. Students will bring home
the practice test sheet, please review them with kids. The Test will be on April 28th 2013
